Drop-in's and booked consultations are both welcome, call Pat Lavoy at 613-334-1214 for an appointment. Computers are provided but if you have your own, bringing it would be appreciated as computers are limited.

A music group that performs in the library every other Friday morning.
The Free Reading Program partners with organizations looking to improve literacy in their community.
They provide a robust Kindergarten to Grade 6 level Reading Program. Over 3600 online interactive Reading, Spelling and Grammar lessons. The program is distributed freely in our community. Click on the login button and sign up for an account for your child(ren) today!
Tuesdays at 10:30 am, preschoolers and caregivers can explore the world of words at Hastings Highlands Public Library and then have play time in the gym. Crafts & healthy snacks for wee folks happen often as well. The Metis Nation of Ontario is a welcome partner in this program, providing snacks, crafts & resources for families. This program enhances literacy through fun interactive play-based activities. North Hastings Children's Services hosts this fun activity at the library. It focuses on language and cognitive development through participants' involvement and their interests!
