Founded in 2019, the Hastings Highlands Public Library Student Bursary Fund was established to provide financial assistance to high school graduates (or equivalent) who have chosen to pursue post-secondary studies at college, university or through apprenticeship programs in the trades.
Monies collected on behalf of the fund, through fundraising by the Hastings Highlands Public Library Board and donations, are placed in the Student Bursary Fund account. The current amount of the bursary is $100.00 per student. However, this amount may vary per year depending on the amount of funds in the account and how many students access the bursary.
