We are kicking off the holiday season with a number of fun things to do, as well as some updates about our holiday hours!
Christmas Break Hours Update:
This year, we will be opening for 2 days over the Christmas Break for all your emergency needs, whether it's printing, accessing the Wi-Fi, or replenishing your holiday book supply. We will be closed from December 25th to January 3rd, excluding the following days:
OPEN: Wednesday, December 29th from 10:30am to 4:00pm
OPEN: Thursday, December 30th from 10:30am to 6:00pm
Our book drop will remain open all through the break, so you can return your library materials at any time. The library wireless internet is accessible from outside of the building at all hours.
Winter/Holiday Grab & Go Kits:
Happy Holiday Wishes from your Library! Back by popular demand are HHPL’s Grab and Go Craft Bags for our families this Holiday Season. Contact Hastings Highlands Public Library to reserve yours (while quantities last) and to arrange a pick up time.

Craft Bags will be available for pick up starting Monday, December 13th. Each Craft Bag will include instructions and materials to create three crafts:

Winter Mittens Paper Craft
Owly Pine Cone Decoration
Popsicle Stick Christmas Tree Ornament
Pipe Cleaner Candy Cane

Pick up one of our Holiday Colouring Packages down in the Children's Area during your next visit to the library! Each package contains a variety of colouring pages and activities for your child to enjoy.
